How we verify provider information

Neko Cash Insights methodology for provider selection, evidence, uncertainty, review dates, and corrections.

What we cover

We include major direct-to-consumer cash advance apps, employer-linked earned wage access services, and practical alternatives relevant to U.S. consumers. Inclusion is not an endorsement. We do not rank providers or accept payment for placement.

Evidence standard

Each material cost, eligibility, delivery, and repayment claim must link to official terms, fee schedules, or provider help documentation. We add regulator or public-record checks where available. Every source record stores its publisher, type, URL, publication or effective date when known, access date, supported fields, and state limitations.

Provider marketing pages can describe a best-case experience. We separately look for limitations involving advertised maximums, subscription requirements, express delivery fees, tips, repayment authorization, cancellation, and enforcement history.

Field-level confidence

  • High: a current official disclosure directly supports the displayed fact.
  • Moderate: an official source supports the fact but employer, state, account, or tested pricing can vary.
  • Limited: no stable universal schedule is public, or the available source is incomplete. The missing information is named.

Review schedule

Fee and repayment details are scheduled for review every month. Each profile receives a complete review every quarter. When either review deadline passes, the site automatically labels the profile overdue until it is re-verified.

Cost presentation

We show dollar costs first. The calculator may show an annualized cost equivalent only as a secondary comparison. It is not presented as a legally required APR and does not determine whether a product is credit.

Corrections

We target acknowledgment within two business days and a verified update within five business days. See the corrections process.
